The Problem

Getting Expert Sleep Care Shouldn't Take Months

Months-long waits

The average wait time to see a sleep specialist is 3–6 months. Then another wait for the sleep lab. Then more waiting for results.

We see you this week. Results within 72 hours when testing is needed.

Insurance headaches

Prior authorizations. Referral requirements. In-network restrictions. Out-of-pocket surprises after the fact.

No prior auth. No referrals. One transparent price — often less than your deductible.

Inconvenient lab studies

In-lab sleep studies mean sleeping in a strange bed, covered in wires, in a facility — nowhere close to your actual sleep environment.

Test in your own bed with a comfortable, FDA-approved device. One night. No lab. Ship it back.

The Process

Three Steps to Better Sleep

01

Book Your Consultation

Schedule a 30-min virtual visit with a board-certified sleep medicine physician. We'll review your symptoms, sleep history, and determine the best path forward — whether that's testing, behavioral strategies, or other treatment options.

30-min video call
02

Test at Home (If Needed)

If your physician determines a home sleep test is appropriate, we ship an FDA-approved device directly to your door. Wear it for one night, ship it back. Not everyone needs testing — many sleep issues can be diagnosed and treated through clinical evaluation alone.

Comfortable. One night. Your own bed.
03

Get Your Results & Treatment Plan

Your sleep study is interpreted by a board-certified sleep physician — not an algorithm. We meet virtually to review your results together and build a personalized treatment plan. CPAP prescription, oral appliance referral, or other options based on what you actually need.

Your Sleep Physician

Board-Certified. Experienced. Accessible.

I'm a board-certified physician in Sleep Medicine, Pulmonary Disease, and Internal Medicine. I diagnose and treat the full spectrum of sleep disorders — from sleep apnea and insomnia to circadian rhythm disorders, restless legs syndrome, and hypersomnia.

I founded Nocturne Health with a simple conviction: expert sleep care shouldn't require months of waiting, endless referrals, or navigating unnecessary barriers. Home sleep testing is one tool in my practice, not the only one. Many patients benefit from clinical evaluation alone, behavioral interventions, or treatments that don't require testing at all.

Every patient receives my direct attention — not a rushed appointment squeezed between prior authorizations. My goal is to understand your sleep and find what actually helps, not to run everyone through the same process.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

If your consultation determines that a home sleep test is appropriate, we ship an FDA-approved device directly to your door — no lab visit required. You wear it for a single night in your own bed. The device records your breathing patterns, oxygen levels, and sleep data overnight. The next morning, you simply ship it back using the prepaid return label. Results are typically ready within 72 hours.

For diagnosing obstructive sleep apnea — which accounts for the vast majority of sleep apnea cases — home sleep testing is clinically validated and widely accepted as a first-line diagnostic tool by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine. In-lab studies are generally reserved for more complex cases or when other sleep disorders (like periodic limb movement disorder or narcolepsy) are suspected. If your results or symptoms suggest something more complex, I'll discuss whether an in-lab study might be appropriate for your situation.

I specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of sleep apnea (obstructive and central), insomnia, hypersomnia, circadian rhythm disorders, and other common sleep disorders. For conditions requiring polysomnography (a full overnight lab study), I can coordinate referrals to an in-lab facility and continue as your supervising sleep physician.

Nocturne Health is a cash-pay practice — we do not bill insurance directly. This allows us to offer transparent pricing, no prior authorizations, no referral chains, and no surprise bills. Our initial consultation is $199, follow-up visits are $99, and home sleep testing (when clinically indicated) is $169. All services are HSA/FSA eligible, and I'm happy to provide a detailed receipt for reimbursement purposes.

Yes. If your home sleep test confirms sleep apnea, I can write prescriptions for CPAP, BiPAP, APAP, or oral appliance therapy. I can also provide referrals to CPAP equipment suppliers and dental sleep medicine specialists for oral appliances. I follow up with all patients to ensure treatment is working and adjust recommendations as needed.

I am currently licensed and seeing patients in Arkansas, California, Florida, Massachusetts, Missouri, Ohio, Oklahoma and Pennsylvania.

When a home sleep test is ordered, most patients receive their results within 72 hours of returning the device. We then schedule a follow-up virtual visit to review everything together — not just a portal notification. I walk through your results in plain language, answer your questions, and build a treatment plan during that visit.

Absolutely. Your health information is protected under HIPAA. We use HIPAA-compliant telehealth and data storage platforms. Your information is never sold to third parties. All video visits are conducted over encrypted, HIPAA-compliant video platforms.
